PHILIP SCHWARTZ, Team Leader
"Philip was great through the whole process. He was there every step of the way. If you're looking for one of the best, Philip is that guy!"
-D.S.
With 15 years in the industry, 8 years as an individual Top Producer, a Top 1% producer since 2009 and over $110M in sales and counting, Philip Schwartz is unquestionably a leader in the Chicago real estate market. Having previously spent 15 years selling building materials, almost his entire professional career has been deeply engrossed in residential housing. He has the ability to look beyond the flash and evaluate the substance of every home he and his clients visit. He brings this analytical approach to the table while remaining empathetic to each clients’ unique needs.
The highlight of his work lies in handing home buyers a set of keys on closing day. Seeing them happily settle in, start families, build lives, and make memories is truly a joy. Statistically speaking, roughly half of his transactions lie with investors and rehabbers: obtaining income properties, projecting returns and maximizing their holdings. He is particularly proud to have represented charitable organizations in their real estate endeavors throughout his career. Whatever type of client he is working with, Philip’s approach is the same: to educate and inform them to make empowered decisions.
For sellers, this means before hitting the market, understanding what buyer and financing guarantees success at the closing table. For buyers, this means looking beyond trendy finishes and updates to structural soundness, identifying potential issues that may arise throughout the life of the property and the longevity of their investment.
Philip has been featured in Chicago Magazine, CBS news, and Curbed Chicago.
He is also licensed in the state of Wisconsin to assist those in search of a quiet retreat in the woods.
Philip is a native of Detroit, and as the child of an active member of the Army, spent part of his youth living on base in South America. He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, and a former chef. He and his wife proudly call Portage Park home, cherishing their classic 1920s bungalow. Philip serves as the Vice President of the Portage Park Neighborhood Association, and sits on the board of the Filament theater, is an avid motorcyclist, and cat dad of three.
